Popeyes Mashed Potatoes 2024

In the mood to grab something rich and tasteful? Forget what all the other restaurants offer— you must get popeyes mashed potatoes! Why – you may ask? Unlike any other mashed potatoes, Popeyes offers a unique cajun gravy.

That is to say; Popeyes breaks the mold with it. Although there’s an unexpected kick of spice, it’s a great surprise for all those spice lovers! The flavor is amped up significantly, making it a splendid combo that no one can resist.

The potatoes are creamy, and the gravy is different in the best way possible. So what’s not unique about that? It may not be traditional; in fact, it may even be better than your traditional mashed potatoes.

The thin brown gravy with specks of visible spices lingering within it is insanely mouthwatering. Additionally, the mashed potatoes don’t have that manufactured white color. It’s towards the yellowish side, which makes it a little homier.

The unique and fantastic flavor has opened a lot of eyes. More and more people are buying it as their palate adjusts to the taste. The more you eat it, the more you like it. It may be a bit greasier than what you’re accustomed to, but the mix of flavors exploding over your taste buds is so worth it.

Popeyes Mashed Potato Price

The regular size of popeyes mashed potato is available for only $1.99! You receive one scoop of potatoes and a good amount of gravy, though the latter depends on what store you visit. It may vary from store to store, but trust me, it’s so worth it.

Does Popeyes Mashed Potato Have Pork?

There is a looming question that people may ponder over. First, of course, we must consider if the food item fits a specific dietary requirement or not. The question is: do Popeyes mashed potatoes have pork?
The answer may disappoint some fans, primarily vegetarians and Muslims: Popeyes uses pork tasso and chicken to make their gravy. Especially in Muslims, Pork is Haram.

However, the mashed potatoes alone have none! So, although you may not have the spicy kick of the cajun gravy, you can still enjoy the smooth and buttery mashed potatoes by themselves.

As a solution, you can go ahead and order the mashed potatoes without the gravy, or it on the side, and instead make your own at home! Just go ahead and seek the internet for assistance, and you’ll find a recipe that suits your taste.

  1. I am a foodie and trust me I baked mashed potatoes from scratch. But when I say that Popeyes have the best mashed potatoes in the industry I mean it! KFC mashed potatoes are thin, watery, and tasteless. I love these potatoes and I love the gravy and sadly to say I could eat two large every single day and that’s not a good thing !LOL! The gravy is the best I’ve read online that it’s greasy and that is an absolute lie it is not greasy and it’s not too salty and I just want to say to the folks at Popeyes you nailed it you rocked it and don’t change it!
